Des Howell Moving House

Mary and I are moving to live in Caloundra next Tuesday (8th Dec 2009). Toowoomba has been very good for us during the past five years, but we both feel it is time to move on. I hope to be even more busily involved in my art activities on the Sunshine Coast, but not too busy to keep at least one eye on this website and what is going on in the Arts in and around Toowoomba. Kym Breeze Artist Palette issue 77

I was lucky enough to win the Windsor and Newton prize for issue 77 due out on the 28th of August...that's this month guys. I also was asked to do a step by step demo, photograph it and write an article for Artist Palette for a later edition, so that is what I am currently working on. Juliana Baker Creative Energy

After spending the entire weekend attending my first ever art class I feel so energised about geting oils onto canvas. I attending under the guidance of Lyn Fraser Roberts.
