You can have a lot of fun here and help create a vital Arts community in our Region, but please remember that with freedom comes responsibility.

Artist Palette issue 77

I was lucky enough to win the Windsor and Newton prize for issue 77 due out on the 28th of August...that's this month guys.
I also was asked to do a step by step demo, photograph it and write an article for Artist Palette for a later edition, so that is what I am currently working on.

Had a great time at Downlands art exhibition, sold a large piece and can say it was the best show ever, the lay out the art and well always good to see old friends...

Creative Energy

After spending the entire weekend attending my first ever art class I feel so energised about geting oils onto canvas. I attending under the guidance of Lyn Fraser Roberts. She is such a great teacher and realy pushes the class to experiement feel free to express your own style. I learnt more in the last two days then I have done in the last few years. I am going to continue to practice the methods that I have learnt and keep going with Oils as a medium.
